The Apache PPSS project has immediate opening for 2 or 3 Software Test Engineers.
The candidate will be performing Software Test and Integration tasks for the Apache helicopter Operational Flight Program.
Hands on abilities to work on flight aircraft as well as in a laboratory environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to synthesize customer contractual needs & requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test procedures and test reports.

Generate test scripts in support of system integration and performance testing.

Must be proficiency in C/C++ programming, Ada is a plus.

APT is seeking System Safety personnel (2 positions) to support the U.S Army’s Precision Fires Rockets & Missiles Program Office.
A Bachelor’s of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Safety Engineering, or another related technical field. MS is desired.
5+ years’ experience providing System Safety engineering and/or advisory support.

Candidate will provide independent software airworthiness assessments of the software development lifecycle artifacts. Candidate must have knowledge of full lifecycle system and software engineering processes; Experience in software development process for safety and mission critical software components. Job description: Participate as a team member of Software Safety team for a critical DoD Weapon System program. As a member of the team work alongside other contractors performing software safety and V&V analysis of requirements, design, code, and testing. Principal duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assist the SED government Lead by providing weekly and periodic status reports and technical reports as requested.
Review software requirements, design, and verification analyses, documentation and or models for compliance with software safety qualification standards and requirements.

Nuclear safety and/or ionizing/non-ionizing radiation safety hazard analysis and/or design, or research and development testing.
