The models include the High Explosive Damage Assessment Model (HEXDAM) and the Vapor-cloud Explosive Damage Assessment Model (VEXDAM), as well as the Vulnerability Assessment of Structurally Damaging Impulses and Pressures (VASDIP) utility. BREEZE HEXDAM is designed for siting analysis of explosive storage and manufacturing facilities. It allows rapid evaluation of damage for each structure within a facility resulting from a primary explosion and any accompanying secondary explosions, and predicts injury to personnel. BREEZE VEXDAM allows for similar damage and injury evaluation for explosions produced by vapor clouds at any elevation. Its primary application is safety analysis of petrochemical fuel storage and refining/manufacturing facilities.
