A-P-T Research, Inc. announces the appointment of John R. Fellows as Chief Executive Officer effective November 16, 2015.
He is currently the Vice President for Programs, DoD Agencies & Bureaus with oversight of SAIC’s Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Defense Health Agency (DHA) and National Guard Bureau portfolios. He also managed SAIC’s Missile Defense and Space Division providing programmatic and engineering support services to the Missile Defense Agency and Marshall Space Flight Center.
Colonel Fellows retired from active military service in 2008 and immediately began employment with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) in Huntsville. Colonel (Ret.) Fellows was commissioned a Field Artillery officer in 1986 and served in numerous field artillery operational and combat assignments prior to serving in multiple Acquisition Corps assignments. He culminated his military career with 6 years as the Product and Project Manager of multiple X-band radar programs with the Missile Defense Agency.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert M. Fellows of Mesa, Arizona and is married to the former Julia A. Watson of Katy, Texas. They have three children, Katie Ashcroft (26), Aly Giles (24), and Kent Fellows (21). They also have 4 young grandchildren.
