APT Huntsville Annual Picnic Raises Nearly $2,000 for Local Veterans

On June 20, APT Huntsville hosted its annual company picnic, organized by the APT Young Professionals Committee (YPC). The event brought together employee-owners for an afternoon of fun, food, and community, while supporting a great cause.

Each year, the YPC selects a local non-profit organization to benefit from the picnic’s fundraising efforts. This year’s recipient was Bearded Warriors, a Huntsville-based non-profit founded by veteran Ty Oswald and his fellow veterans. Bearded Warriors works to raise awareness, provide resources, and offer direct assistance to local veterans in need.

The picnic featured a variety of activities for everyone to enjoy, including a cornhole tournament, bouncy castle for kids, and a cotton candy machine. Funds were raised through a bake sale, silent auction, dunk tank, and general donations, with all proceeds going to Bearded Warriors. Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our employee-owners, YPC raised nearly $2,000 to support their mission.

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and participated; your support helped make this year’s picnic both meaningful and memorable!
